Arby’s franchises in Alabama wanted a fun and creative way to increase sales during college football season.
Customers selected either an Alabama- or Auburn-themed combo at local Arby’s restaurants, and could go to a microsite created to capture contest entries. Each day, the site was updated to show how many of each type of combo were purchased.
Thousands of customers participated in the contest. The winners were treated to a VIP experience at the big rival game at the end of the season.
